How to Join
To join Derby Mercury follow this link to Rider HQ.
We have 5 membership categories
- Adult – For members over 18.
- Second Claim – For member who race / represent another primary club.
- Junior – For members 16 to 18.
- Youth – For members under 16.
- Family – For upto 2 Adults and 4 Junior / Youth members at the same address.

Go-Ride
We have very active Go-Ride membership which meet on a Wednesday Evening. During the summer we use the Velodrome Car Park and in the winter Moorways Stadium. In addition we have regular track sessions on a Wednesday. More information is on the Go Ride page.
Time Trials
During the summer we run an Evening Time Trial series on a Tuesday Evening. The latest calendar and course information is on the Time Trial page. To ride the time trials you need to be 12+ and be a member of a CTT registered club. To qualify for the Derby Mercury competitions you need to be a first or second claim DMRC member. For the 2022 season you MUST have a working FRONT & REAR light and wear a HELMET.
Track
We have a senior track session on a Wednesday Evening 8 to 10pm open to all members & non members who are experienced / accredited track riders for more information email [email protected] .
Mountain Biking
Cyclocross
Derby Mercury are part of the Notts & Derby Cyclocross League which run a full calendar of events over the Autumn and Winter NDCXL .
Road Race
We organise a Road Race on the Windley Circuit as part of the East Midlands Road Racing League.
Audax
We have a very active Audax scene with lots of members taking part in Audax’s up and down the country and further afield including Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP). For more info on events see Audax UK
